a bit about me
I am a 55 year old mom. I homeschooled both of my children: a 25 year old boy and a 21 year old girl. I love them both very much and enjoyed having them at home. My hobbies include knitting and crocheting and any other needlecrafts. I have copied many patterns from sites on the internet. I enjoy working with beads and clay.

When the weather cooperates I like to work in my garden. Now that I'm in Arizona, I don't have to worry about the rain and snow any more. Every day is perfect. Only sometimes, I have to get my outside chores done early because of the intense summer heat.
Bib Here is my latest crochet project. I made it from an old crochet magazine, but my neighbor told me the directions are on the internet.

I also enjoy working with desktop publishing programs. My favorites are Printmaster Platinum ver.11, The PrintShop version 12, and CreateACard Gold3. I enjoy making cards and stationery for friends and family. It is a great creative outlet.

I have really gotten into making cards using photos I've taken and graphics that I have made from fractals and in PaintShop Pro. They really make a card one-of-a-kind. Please visit my card sites and my store to see some of the wonderful cards I've made. Visit often because I am always adding to it.

Several years ago I downloaded and played with the Shareware version of Paint Shop Pro 4. Boy, did I have fun. There are tutorials to make all sorts of neat graphics still out on the internet. One of the first things I made was this signature. Not bad for a beginner. Check out some of the other ones I have made.

Now, I use Paintshop Pro 9. It is even better than PSP4. I have made Animated GIFs and Snow Globes and even Easter Eggs. I can appreciate the unlimited undos because I am always changing my mind. The program has so many options that I think I will be kept learning about it for quite some time. Check out "Maurice's Birthday" and "Playing with PSP6" to see some of what PSP6 and PSP7 can do.
