Breast Cancer Awareness Month

      The subject of breast cancer is very important to me. Both my mother and my dear mother-in-law are breast cancer survivors. My mother's operation was five years ago next month.

      In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I have designed a very special note card and detachable pin that can be given as a gift. The card looks like the one above. It's 4.25 x 5.5 inches (10.5 x 14 cm). Pinned through the rose and ribbon picture is a rose and ribbon that have been sewn onto a brass pin. It can be removed and worn by the receiver of the card. The pin looks just like the one on the card since I took a picture of one to put on the card.
      I will donate $.50 of the $2.50 price per card ($4.00 of the purchase of a set of 8 cards) to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for breast cancer research.
